Day 01: ARRIVE DELHI

  • Arrive Delhi by international flight
  • Meeting and assistance by ‘WAITE’ representative and transfer to the hotel where room will be protected for immediate occupancy.

Day 2: A DAY IN DELHI

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning: Sightseeing Tour of Old Delhi
    Visit Rajghat – Memorial to Father of the Nation – Mahatma Gandhi, drive past Red Fort, visit Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India, built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
  • Take a Cycle Rickshaw ride thorough the colourful bazaars of Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets of Old Delhi.
  • Afternoon: Sightseeing Tour of New Delhi
    Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Qutab Minar’ – a minaret and “victory tower” that forms part of the Qutb complex, which lies at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, founded by the Tomar Rajputs.
    Visit Humayun’s Tomb, which is one of the best-preserved Mughal monuments and is the the first example of Mughal architecture in India

Day 3:  DELHI – AGRA

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning: Leave Delhi for Agra by road
  • The distance is approximately 210 kms and the drive would take about 3 ½ hours
  • On arrival, check-in at the hotel
  • Afternoon: Sightseeing tour of Agra
  • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal
    Agra Fort – It is a historical fort in the city of Agra and was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638, when their capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi.
    Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the modern world and is located on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Day 4: AGRA – JAIPUR

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning: Drive from Agra to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute
  • The distance is approximately 240 kms and the drive would take about 7 hours including visits Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was built during the second half of the 16th century by Emperor Akbar. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years. The complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India.
  • On arrival in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel

Day 5: A DAY IN JAIPUR

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning: Drive past Hawa Mahal and visit the Amber Fort
    Hawa Mahal, also known as “Palace of Breeze”, was built in 1799 as an extension to the Royal City Palace of Jaipur. It allows the royal ladies who at the time strictly observed “pardah” (veil), to be able to watch any processions and activities on the street without being seen by the public.
    Amber Fort is an extensive palace complex built with pale yellow and pink sandstone, and with white marble. The fort is divided into four main sections that are graced with their own courtyards.
  • Afternoon: Visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar
    The City Palace Complex was conceived and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. A beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, the palace is still home to the last ruling royal family which lives in a private section of the palace.
    The Jantar Mantar was built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II in 1734. It is an astronomical observatory, which features the world’s largest stone sundial.

Day 6: JAIPUR – SAMODE

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning: Drive from Jaipur to Samode
  • The distance is approximately 40 kms and the drive would take about 1 ½ hours

  • Late Afternoon: Ride on a camel cart through the village of Samode
    Samode – Nestled within the rugged yet beautiful Aravali Hills, this enchanting village is ideal for experiencing regal majesty within a rural Indian setting.
